A longshot
This is a total longshot but I thought I would ask anyway.

Does anyone have an ergonomic keyboard they aren't using? That they would be willing to sell me for say, less than retail? Pay for shipping too, of course.

I tried Freecycle, Craigslist, local thrift stores, and Ebay (I keep getting outbid to retail price).

My 12 year old keyboard died over the weekend and I'm using a crappy one out of our "leftovers" pile. I'd really like NOT to spend $50 on a new ergo one.

Any help?

I don't know if it's much help, but I have an old ergo keyboard from my college computer (so it really is old). Probably 12 years. It's a Microsoft Natural Keyboard. I haven't used it in years so it's a bit dusty, but if you want it, you're welcome to it. It's been hanging out in my 'computer stuff to recycle' box. :D

That is EXACTLY the one that I had. How much do you want for it? Do you have a Paypal, I'll send you money for it and to ship it.

Just fire me off an email at jjsoapchat at yahoo . com

Damn, no such luck with finding one yesterday? That sucks. Looks like you're about to get one :) I checked on craigslist and nothing turned up.

When we went to the thrift store, they had cleared out all their electronics until April 1st. They are moving to a new location.

And none of the Target, Wal-Marts, K-Marts, carried an ergo.

I've never tried one. I've always been curious but they were too expensive to just take for a test run. So I'm getting that you loved yours and don't like anything else. :) I hope you get one soon!

I never used to like them until I had a job in college doing internet security. Everyone had them for the mass amounts of data we were typing daily. I got used to one really fast. Now when I use a standard, it feels...strange.
