30 Days of TV - Day 03

I could spam you ALL DAY with Glee clips. Honest to god. We would be here until the cows come home. That is how much I love this show.

Duh. I mean, is anyone even surprised? It's Ryan Murphy + Musicals. It doesn't get any better for me. I'm Team Cheerios all the way too, in case that wasn't obvious. I need more Quinn, Brittney, Santana, and Sue in my life. I need them like woah. Puck too. Oh who am I kidding? I love them all. LOL

Honestly, it's been a while since a show made me 1. laugh 2. cry and 3. laugh again all in one episode. With Nip/Tuck gone, I'm so happy that I have that kind of nearly brainless TV that I had with Nip/Tuck. Now if only he could put some of the heart Popular had into it, I could die happy!

Why thank you! And that icon of yours is so made of win too. Bahahahaha, I remembered I lol'ed so hard when I first saw that.

I've been thinking about it. Not sure, but I think I might. :D

There are too many things to comment on in that one Glee clip! *still laughing and laughing* Oh man. That was both completely offensive and completely hilarious.

"Jagger. Bowie. We knew they were women... Neil Patrick Harris, you confuse me." HAAAAAA.

I think what cracks me up even more is that Jane Lynch is gay (And she married her long time girlfriend in MA over Memorial Day weekend) so I know she probably had so much fun with that segment.

While I do think that Glee gets things brutally wrong sometimes (like way too much stunt casting and not following any semblance of a storyline in the back 9), you're right. It's musicals! On tv! And like, also? It actually *tries* to make an impact with characters like Kurt and Quinn and Sue. Pretty impressive.

Now if only Quinn and Puck will make out some, I will be happy.

I went through six seasons of Nip/Tuck so I know how Ryan Murphy works. I had a feeling Glee was going to suffer from the same problems Nip/Tuck did and I was right. Stunt casting, rambling storylines, forgetting major plot points. It's kind of his style.

I treat it like cotton candy. Pink, fluffy, a nice after dinner treat on Tuesdays. :)

And yes, Quinn and Puck need to make out like woah! Or Puck can just come over and clean this cougar's pool. LOL

Why are they all making the loser sign for the L in Glee?
Kellyxlivvielockex on June 4th, 2010 06:26 pm (UTC)
The kids in the Glee club are considered the losers of the school. They get made fun, beat up, slushies thrown in their face. So it's just sort of a marketing reminder that these are the losers, the underdogs.

This show is just amazing...regardless of how much it fails sometimes *why hello back 9 I'm talking to you*

Now if only they would get themselves some Beatles songs on that show!!!! *or is no one allowed to use those for anything right now seeing as how the Creepy Prince of Pop's Estate is still in limbo?*
Kelly: Glee: Gag Reflexxlivvielockex on June 4th, 2010 06:32 pm (UTC)
I totally agree. They need to do a Beatles episode. I wonder if they are holding out until sweeps of next season because that would be a big draw to be sure.

Like I told leobrat, I went through six seasons of Nip/Tuck with the same problems. It's just Ryan Murphy's style. It's one of those things that eventually you learn to just have it as a fluff show.

I don't mind the fluff, it just wish that if it's going to be fluffy, it's more a broad spectrum fluff. Like yeah for Rachel and finding out who her mom is (assuming that wasn't a lie), but honestly I loved finding out about the other Glee kids more. Like Arty and his desire to be a dancer *SAFETY DANCE MADE ME CRY SO HARD!!!!!* All the stuff with Kurt and His Dad has been amazing. And umm yeah, I want that parapalegic friend of Finn's to come back. He was interesting!

Basically I want the show to about more than Rachel, Finn and Mr. Shue. (Who by the way is totally annoying me in the back 9.)
